Careers

We're hiring attorneys to build and verify AI legal tools for the startup ecosystem. Shape the future of legal AI.

The Opportunity

Startups Are Our
Fastest-Growing Market.

Early-stage companies can't afford $500/hr for a contract review. But they still need real legal accuracy when they're signing their first customers, raising a seed round, or licensing their technology.

CrestlineAI gives founders instant access to legal tools that handle the routine — but those tools are only as good as the attorneys who verify them. We're seeing massive uptake in the startup space, and we need practicing lawyers who understand this world to ensure every output is airtight.

This isn't traditional law firm work. You won't bill hours. You'll shape how AI delivers legal services to thousands of companies that could never have afforded a firm like ours.

What You'll Actually Do

This isn't document review in a windowless room. You'll work at the intersection of law, AI, and the startup ecosystem.

Verify AI Outputs

Review contracts, research memos, and documents generated by CrestlineAI. Flag errors, catch edge cases, and validate legal reasoning.

Train the Models

Your feedback directly improves our AI. Write correction notes, define accuracy benchmarks, and help our tools learn from your expertise.

Serve Startup Clients

Handle escalated matters that exceed AI capabilities — financing rounds, complex IP questions, regulatory strategy for early-stage companies.

Shape the Product

Work directly with our AI team to design new tools, refine existing ones, and define what 'good enough' looks like for legal AI.

Build Playbooks

Create verification frameworks and quality standards that scale. Your work defines how legal AI should be validated industry-wide.

Work From Anywhere

Most roles are remote-friendly. We care about your bar card and your judgment, not your zip code.

Who We're Looking For

We're hiring attorneys — not paralegals, not legal ops generalists. You need a practicing law degree and real experience.

J.D. or Equivalent

From an accredited law school with active bar membership or practicing certificate

3+ Years Practicing

Real experience in startup, corporate, IP, entertainment, or technology law

AI Curiosity

You don't need to code — but you need to believe AI can make legal services better
